Plastic Spring Spacers

Almost everybody uses plastic spring spacers instead of metal spacers. I used to use metal spacers but over time I got tired of replacing the plastic with metal ones. I'm going to revert back go metal ones for the following reasons:

• They sometimes make a lot of noise. Because the spacers are hidden under the springs it is hard to locate the noise. Even harder to oil them.
• They break. See the photos below.
