SOMMER evo+

 

This warranty looks fairly good but the last time I had a problem, Oct 2022, it seemed their support consisted of a single person in the USA. You would call and leave a voice message on their private phone. They did send parts for free yet the problem continued to exist. This took weeks and eventually the customer got tired of not having an operating garage door and bought another opener. (I think instead of sending parts companies should send a whole new motor head and be done with it. Especially since the parts cost the same as a whole new motor head. Yet nobody does that.)

 

LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY.


Motor:
The 24 Volt DC motor under normal use will be free from defects in material and workmanship for as long as the Purchaser occupies the residence in which the Product was first installed (“Residence”); provided the Product is installed in accordance with the applicable Sommer installation manual.


Parts:
Rail, chain, circuit boards and hardware will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of six (6) years.


Product Accessories (transmitter, wall station, safety sensors, etc.):
will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of two (2) years.


Spare Parts:
Sommer intends to have spare parts available for a period of ten (10) years from the date of purchase.

Same warranty as on the evo+.
