I was very satisfied with the service requested, the quality and value. Dave was very professional, on time, identified the problem and was able to come out the next day.

Fantastic! We thought that our garage door motor had gone out, so we called 2 different companies. Well, company #1 came out, what an experience and yes it was actually very entertaining. After mumbling something, he quoted $1000. We had priced motors, so we had an idea of the cost. Average price, $350 (ish). So, I guess he wants $700 in labor, NOT.
On to # 2, Menifee Garage Door! Let’s start.
1. We called, and the call was returned within minutes.
2. An appointment was made, and due to his previous schedule, he offered to come on a Sunday!
3. Showed up on time and first impression was unbelievable. A gentleman, so upbeat. A real caring person.
4. Dave poked around, played with some things, reconnected a wire. All fixed. Yep, it was me. In doing woodworking in our garage, I had hit the wire and did not realize it.
5. There was no charge. Only a great smile and good wishes for our day.

In today’s times people like Dave are rare!!!

Had Dave out a few years to repair one of our garage doors. The spring broke on the second door recently and we made a call for repair. Dave was onsite in a couple of hours and accessed the issue and what was needed. He returned early the next day and had us up and running in about an hour and a half. The spring on my garage door broke. I called Menifee Garage Door the next morning and Dave was on site quickly. Helpfully showing me the specs he used to determine the replacement part, as well as skillfully installing the equipment, Daves work is professional from the start. My garage door was defective for years and then finally would not close. I located Dave through a Google search. In part, I had a sense of Dave’s sincerity and accuracy in assessing the problem with the breakdown of my garage door. There was not any questions as to the high skills level that Dave brought to my garage breakdown.

Dave arrived on the scheduled minute for my appointment. Upon Dave’s arrival, he inspected the garage door, the alignment of the tracks, and other related parts of the door that I would have never considered. My concern was that I would need a new garage door or motor.

However and to my delight, Dave informed me that it appeared my problem was a need for a long deferred maintenance service, nothing else. Other garage door companies I spoke with prior to connecting with Dave were sure that I needed a new garage door. My garage door now operates quietly and efficiently.

Dave was direct, accurate and sincere with his assessment, and with a pleasantly satisfactory and reasonable service charge for his time.
I am also particularly impressed with Dave’s upbeat and positive anttitude, and personality that turned a difficult situation into a rewarding result for me.

My garage door wouldn’t open one morning and I contacted Menifee Garage Door services. They quickly dispatched a technician that arrived and quoted $750 to fix the problem. He, however, was unable to say exactly what the issue was that he was fixing, and would not provide a written estimate. Two days later Gabriel’s Garage Repair came out looked at my opener and in 5 minutes it was fixed. The total cost was $50. What the extra $700 Menifee Garage Door services was going to charge me for, I have no idea. Avoid them at all costs. I would give "zero" stars if that was an option.

Dave promised to come within an hour of my call for service. True to his word, he arrived promptly and over delivered! After giving me a tutorial on garage door maintenance while attending to my noisy door, he declined accepting payment stating, "You can pay me on the next visit when you need repairs." Give Dave a call!

It was Friday 7:00 pm when we found out our garage door is broken and could not open even manually.. we need to take my car out of garage want next morning. My garage door just stopped opening one day after trying to troubleshoot it myself and having no luck I called Dave because he was highly recommended to me by a coworker. He was very professional over the phone trying to help me figure out what was going on with my garage. After having no luck told me he would be over shortly. My garage door opener was making a strange grinding noise. The last problem I had with it was two years ago when one of the door springs broke. I called Dave, owner of Menifee Garage Door and within a few hours he arrived and replaced both springs and adjusted the door, was pleasant to deal with and charged a fair amount. When the current problem occurred at 7 pm at night I called Dave immediately and he was at my house by 10 am the next day. My opener was 17 years old I asked Dave for the cost of repair and also for replacement. Once he provided me the info I choose to replace. His replacement cost was very reasonable which included removal of the old unit. The replacement was a Linear Belt driven unit, which came with a Lifetime warranty on the motor and belt. I recently had total spine fusion and am still learning to get around. On Saturday at about 19:00 (7:00 PM) MY GARAGE DOOR OPERATOR FAILED TO GO UP OR DOWN WHEN WE HAD A CARLOAD OF GROCERIES. On Sunday, when he normally is resting, he called me and said he had time to look at it. Dave showed up with a cheery smile and went through a series of tests. None were successful. Be removed the cover to the motor and discovered a part had fallen from its location. He replaced it on a piston and it continually fell off the motor activated and the took place in that the door would NOT open or close. David suggested that the operator be replaced. He even suggested purchasing a new operator from the big box hardware pro idsrss.[Lowes/Home Depot] That would mean a wait for their operators to be installed. I opted to go with Dave because I had experienced his high quality work when he initially [installed] springs previously. I had a garage door repaired by Dave, owner of Menifee Garage Door and Opener Repair about 9 years ago, and I saved his card because we had been so happy and impressed with his work. Good thing, because when I had a different problem with my garage door, I called Dave again at 4:50 p.m. on President's Day, and he arrived at the site at 5:20 p.m.! Dave diagnosed the problem immediately; the left pulley chain was pinched between the pulley and the door hinge. He fixed the problem and the door was then able to come down into place. He then retightened everything. <br> <br> To my surprise, Dave then proceeded to check all aspects of the door and opener and lubricated all moving parts. David very very quick to respond to my need to look at my garage door after I had backed into it earlier that morning. Truly, this is an honest rating that does mean "as good as it gets" and I'm not always generous with ratings. My garage door has been squeaking for a while now, last night it was screeching so badly I expected it to just totally seize up. Last month I just had a great first experience with Menifee Garage Door and Opener Repair. My garage door just stopped working. I live in the Colony Retirement Community so I saw this Company on our Recommend List of companies to use. I called and explained my problem. Dave asked me to do a few things to hopefully get the door working. No Luck. Within 15 minutes he was in my garage working to find the problem.. About a 1/2 hr. later my door was working and I was one happy camper to pay and be on my way to finish running errands. However Dave didn't charge me. We had replaced our springs about two years ago with another company. Apparently the springs need to be different for 8' doors than 7' doors because it broke in only two years. Called Menifee Garage Door and Opener and they put in springs meant for an eight foot door and gave us a ten year warranty.
